Croatian Language and Culture Study Course
20th to 27th June 2015
We are ready for June's Croatian Language School study trip.
This time the venue is the small coastal town of Cavtat near Dubrovnik.
In order to maximise our students’ opportunities to improve and make use of Croatian, there will be:
Firstly there will be twelve hours of language tuition lessons over the course of the week, organised in three-hour sessions on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. These will be conducted at two different levels, beginners/improvers and intermediate.
Secondly a programme of excursions will be on offer and during those times, students will be encouraged to practise their Croatian amongst themselves and with any native speakers on the trips and any communication from the organisers of the trips will be in Croatian.
Thirdly in their free time, students will be able to try out their language skills in and around town, in shops, restaurants etc.

Students are free to organise their own accommodation in Cavtat, so that they can arrange hotel or self-catering accommodation to suit their own particular preferences and budget. Students are welcome to bring a partner or friend with them but non-Croatian speakers do need to appreciate that the excursions, which they will be welcome to join, will be largely conducted in Croatian.
The cost of the language tuition for the week will be £250.
Students are free to choose whether they wish to participate in some or all of the excursions but there is no obligation to do so. The cost of the excursions will be in addition to the tuition costs.
All participants will make their own way to and from Cavtat to suit their own travel arrangements. Cavtat Airport is also Dubrovnik International Airport/ Cilipi. For students travelling from the UK, please click here to find out your best flight option.
